Built to be usable
Accessibility
Last updated September 24, 2026
We want this site to work for everyone who wants to talk to us about a project, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, or magnification.
What we have done
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight past the navigation to the main content.
- Headings run in a logical order, and each page has exactly one main heading.
- Every photograph has descriptive alternative text that says what is in it.
- Form fields have real labels, sensible autocomplete, and error messages in text rather than color alone.
- Text and background colors were chosen to hold contrast in both the light and dark sections.
- Buttons and links on phones are sized to be tapped comfortably.
- Motion is kept gentle, and if your device is set to reduce motion, the moving parts of the page stop.
Where we know it is imperfect
Some of our project photographs are working shots taken on jobsites, and detail in them can be hard to make out. Where a photograph is carrying important information, we describe it in the text near it as well.
The map on our contact page is embedded from Google and we do not control its accessibility. Our full address is written out in text next to it and in the footer of every page, so you never need the map to find us.
Tell us if something is in your way
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, we want to hear about it and we will fix it. It also does not have to slow you down in the meantime: call or text us and we will take your project details over the phone.
