CNC Foam Cutting & Custom Fabrication
Molds and forms, roof drains and crickets, prototypes, packaging inserts, large scale components, and shapes that do not have a name yet. If you can draw it or hand us a sample, we can cut it.
Most of what is on this site started as a custom cut. The trim, the columns, the arches, and the furniture are all the same core capability pointed at different problems: precision foam cutting, then a coating and finish appropriate to where the piece is going to live.
This page is for the jobs that do not fit the other categories. Somebody needs a mold to cast against. Somebody needs forty identical roof drain crickets. Somebody is prototyping a product and needs a full size shape to hold before they commit to tooling. Somebody needs a foam plug for a shape that is going to be fiberglassed. Those all come through here.
We work from files, from drawings, and from physical samples. Repeat runs come off the same file every time, which is the reason production customers care about this more than anything else: part number twelve matches part number one.
What comes through the shop
Molds, forms, and plugs
Shapes to cast, pour, vacuum form, or lay up against, cut to your geometry and finished to whatever surface your process needs.
Roof drains and crickets
Tapered drainage shapes cut to slope, in the quantities a commercial roof actually needs.
Large scale components
Pieces too big to ship from anywhere else economically, which is exactly where light weight starts paying for itself.
Prototypes and mockups
Full size shapes for design review, fit checks, and client presentations, before anybody spends money on tooling.
Production runs
Repeat parts cut from one file so every unit in the run matches the first one.
Packaging and inserts
Shaped foam to hold, cushion, and ship something fragile, cut to the part rather than around it.
The process
How to get something cut
- 01
Send what you have
A CAD file, a PDF, a dimensioned sketch, or a photo of a physical part with a tape measure next to it. Any of those is a workable starting point.
- 02
We confirm the geometry
If anything in the drawing will not cut cleanly or will not survive handling, you hear about it before it is cut, not after.
- 03
Cut, coat, finish to spec
Bare foam if that is what your process wants. Hard coated and finished if the piece is going somewhere it will be seen or touched.
- 04
Pick up, deliver, or ship
Local around Southern Utah, freight anywhere in the country. Low weight keeps the shipping bill reasonable even on big parts.

Good to know
CNC cutting & custom fabrication, answered
What file formats do you take?
Send whatever you have and we will tell you if we can work from it. CAD files, PDFs, and dimensioned drawings are all normal here. So is a phone photo of a part with a ruler in the shot.
Can you reverse engineer a part from a sample?
Often, yes. Send or bring the physical piece. Matching an existing profile is one of the more common requests we get, especially on remodels and repairs.
Do you do production quantities?
Yes, and that is where cutting from a file pays off, because every part in the run comes off the same geometry. Tell us the quantity up front and it changes the pricing.
How big can a piece be?
Bigger than most people expect, and pieces that exceed a single cut get built in sections that join cleanly. Tell us the overall size and we will tell you how we would break it up.
