Sculpture you can actually move

Foam Furniture & Sculptural Decor

Console tables, coffee tables, seating forms, oversized planters with recessed lighting, and wall pieces. The heavy plaster and concrete look that is filling design feeds, at a weight one person can carry through a door.

The sculptural, monolithic furniture look, the arc cut console, the drum coffee table, the chunky plaster planter, is everywhere in design right now. In concrete or solid plaster it is close to unusable in a real house. A concrete console table is a two person lift, it will mark a wood floor, and it is not going upstairs.

We build those same forms in foam and finish them so they read as plaster, limestone, or concrete. The arc console tables in these photos weigh a fraction of what they look like. You can pick one up, move it, and change your mind about where it goes.

This side of the shop works with interior designers, stagers, retailers, and homeowners, and a lot of it is one of one. If you have seen a piece you love and cannot find it, or cannot find it in the size your room needs, that is the normal starting point for one of these.

What we make

  • Console and sofa tables

The arc cut and curved cutout forms in our gallery, sized to the sofa they sit behind and finished in the color you pick.

  • Coffee and side tables

Drum, cylinder, plinth, and slab forms, including oversized rounds that would be immovable in stone.

  • Seating forms

Chair and sofa forms built as a base for upholstery, or finished as sculptural seating in their own right.

  • Planters, lit and plain

Tapered and straight planters, including the units we build with recessed LED channels running the corners.

  • Wall art and panels

Carved wall panels, decorative surfboards, signage pieces, and dimensional art sized to the wall.

  • One of a kind pieces

Bases, plinths, pedestals, headboards, reception desks, and whatever else somebody has sketched and wants to actually own.

The process

How a custom piece happens

  1. 01

    Show us the reference

A saved photo, a screenshot, a sketch. Tell us the dimensions the room needs, because that is usually the whole reason the piece has to be custom.

  2. 02

    We size and quote it

Form, dimensions, finish texture, and color, with a price before we start.

  3. 03

    Shaped and finished

Cut, shaped, and given a hard coat, then finished in the texture and color you chose. The teal console in our gallery started the same way.

  4. 04

    Delivered

Local delivery around Southern Utah, or crated and shipped. It arrives light enough to put where you want it without a moving crew.

Good to know

Foam furniture & decor, answered

Is foam furniture actually durable?

The coating is what makes it usable. A finished piece has a hard shell over it, so it takes normal daily use, holds objects, and wipes clean. It is not a concrete block and we will not tell you it is, but it does the job a console table has to do.

What colors and textures can I get?

Plaster smooth, limestone texture, concrete texture, and finishes in between, in the color you pick. Our gallery shows white, off white, black, and teal, and those are only the ones we happened to photograph.

Can you build to an exact size?

That is the main reason people order a custom piece. Give us the length, depth, and height your space needs and we build to it, rather than you hunting for something close.

Do you ship furniture?

Yes. Local delivery around Southern Utah, and freight nationwide. Light weight is what makes shipping these realistic in the first place.
